About Me!
Handcrafted jewellery, made for you xThanks for popping by!
Hi there, I’m Michele, and I love creating contemporary, tactile jewellery to last a lifetime.
Every piece I design is something I’d proudly wear myself, and it’s important to me that my jewellery is not only good to look at but also super comfortable. Whether you’re wearing one piece on its own or mixing it with others, it’s all about easy, effortless style.
Many of my designs are made as special commissions or prototypes, so if you see something you love and want to make it your own (or transform it into gold), just reach out! I’m always happy to chat about commissions and pricing.
What really makes my work stand out? Everything is lovingly handmade by me using traditional smithing techniques—so each piece is as unique as you are!
And when it arrives? You’ll find it nestled in one of my signature presentation boxes, which is handcrafted in Germany from layers of mulberry paper to resemble a beautiful stone. These organic, one-of-a-kind boxes aren’t just for packaging—they make the perfect display too!
If you don’t quite see what you’re looking for, no worries! Drop me a message or give me a call, and together we’ll create something totally unique just for you. xx

Sustainability: thoughtfully made, every step of the way
I really care about how my jewellry is made and the impact on the environment, which is why I prioritise using ethically sourced materials whenever possible. Most of the metal I work with is recycled—especially silver, which is wonderful because every little bit can be reused again and again!
I melt down silver scraps and run them through a rolling mill to create new sheet or wire, giving them a fresh start in a new piece. All the metals, gemstones, and pearls I use come from trusted suppliers who share my commitment to ethical sourcing.
Even the packaging is chosen with care—your piece will arrive in a lovely mulberry paper box with a soft foam insert, perfect for gifting or keeping safe.
Designed and made by me
All of the jewellery you see is designed and handmade by me in my cosy little workshop tucked away in the beautiful countryside near Kirkby Lonsdale and the Lake District.
I’m also lucky enough to spend a lot of time in the French Alps, and both of these gorgeous places constantly inspire my work. Honestly, I always have more ideas than I have time to make them!
Each piece is crafted using traditional techniques such as piercing (cutting with a fine jewellers sawblade), forming, texturising – I use all sorts of materials and hammers to apply textures to the metal, -soldering, filing to get rid of sharp edges and removing unwanted marks before polishing.
Everything is made by hand with care—and no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
Any piece of silver jewellery weighing 7.8g or more is sent to the London Assay Office to be officially hallmarked. For gold items, or where gold is added as an accent, the weight limit for hallmarking is 1g of gold!
The Assay Office apply the proper finesse marks along with my maker’s mark (MTT), giving you extra peace of mind that the metal is exactly what it claims to be.
If you’re curious about the history and process behind hallmarking, feel free to check out my blog where I share more about it!

Associations and memberships
I am a gold member of The Guild of Jewellery Designers.
All my jewellery weighing over 7.78 grams is hallmarked by the London Assay office and also includes my sponsors mark (MTT).
I’m proud to be a member of the Manchester Jewellers Network (MJN), a collective of talented jewellers based in the north-west of England. We get together to share ideas, techniques, and inspiration.
Alongside selling my work in several galleries, I also take part in exhibitions with MJN—our jewellery is often on display (and available to buy!) at Manchester Art Gallery.
I regularly take part in the fabulous Craft Market Kendal which is usually the last weekend in November – a perfect time to stock up on Christmas gifts!
Training
I’ve always been interested in art but only started working with silver in 2013 at a local jewellery school.
My initial interest soon developed into a passion and in 2019 I attended stone setting classes in Malaysia.
There are so many techniques to master I doubt I’ll ever run out of new things to learn!
